The Hotel Alte Post is located in the centre of Müllheim in the Markgräflerland, a charming small town near the Black Forest in Baden-Württemberg. Our location is a real asset for your relaxing stay. Beautiful hiking trails start right outside the door, a fitness centre is just opposite and there are three wonderful golf courses in the surrounding area.
Our hotel is centrally located in the heart of the Markgräflerland region, in the middle of Müllheim, between Freiburg, Basel and the Black Forest. The location is ideal for wine lovers, nature explorers and culture enthusiasts.
You can easily reach us by car via the A5 motorway (Neuenburg am Rhein exit). Müllheim also has good rail connections – the station is only a few minutes away from the hotel.
Müllheim has a direct train connection between Freiburg and Basel, making it easy to reach by rail.
From Müllheim station, it is only about 5 minutes by taxi or 15 minutes on foot. We are happy to organise a transfer for you on request – just let us know.
